Filming in Black Lion Lane/ parking suspensions

Wednesday 17th August

Permission has been given for filming to take place at the Cross Keys in Black Lion Lane between 8 am - 1 pm on Wednesday 17th August.  There will be parking suspensions outside 43-55 Black Lion Lane, around the corner on the road leading to St Peter's Square and at the western end of St Peter's Road.

The filmmakers will be making a donation to SPRA which will help go towards the garden funds, subsidise residents' parties and support other local projects.

They will have marshals in place the evening before to help ensure all goes smoothly, but we suggest you avoid parking in the bays that will be suspended from Tuesday afternoon onwards.

Fundraising for St Peter's Church rainwater downpipes

The church downpipes have reached the end of their life, and are too narrow for the heavier rain storms of the 21st Century, causing water to cascade down the walls, resulting in damp and damage to the Georgian building. You will have seen the scaffolding up and work is underway, but the Church needs your help to close the funding gap. For more information click here (and a Gift Aid form is here).

Medicine packet recycling at Superdrug
