Aggressive doorstep begging

Over the past few months a number of residents have been aggressively targeted by doorstep beggars with a variety of convincing stories. Residents who have been generous to them (or have paid them to go away) find that they return again and again. The not-so festive message is not to give money on the doorstep. The local Police advice is to call 101 or 999 if they become aggressive. Let SPRA know if you have been targeted: contact@spraweb.net

If you catch any incidents on CCTV, do send a report and the footage to our local Safer Neighbourhoods Team: ravenscourtpark.snt@met.police.uk
